Mississauga Toastmasters Heard My Salmon Speech

I performed my Northwest Indian Salmon People speech at a local Mississauga Toastmasters club this past week. It was about one of the Northwest Native Indian legends about the salmon, which has a very important place in the culture of Canada's Native aboriginal people.

The speech generally went over quite well and I will plan to perform this one at other Mississauga Toastmasters clubs as well over the next several weeks. Toastmasters is a great way to learn public speaking skills in Mississauga and surrounding areas.

You can see examples of Northwest Indian Salmon Carvings at the Free Spirit Gallery site.
